On May 5th, the PPE team and their families teamed up with Garden-Raised Bounty (GRuB) to provide our community with vegetable gardens, in an effort to assist low-income community members in providing nutritious foods and to help reduce the burden on emergency food programs. Splitting into two teams, our crews (and our families) worked throughout the day to do our part.
This event was important for us to participate in; we have a very strong sense of community, and we have a wonderful community in the Puget Sound. We strongly believe in the hard work that GRuB puts into improving the lives of our southwestern Washington family, and it was our distinct pleasure to work hand-in-hand with them.
